职业发展的8个重要原则
1. Relationships are important in your company. You need to build a network. You do that by moving around and talking to many people. Maintain your relationships!
你在公司里的人际关系是非常重要的。你需要在公司里建立你的人际网络。怎么才能做到呢?参加更多活动并同很多人沟通,并且维持你的人际网络。
2. Everything is possible in your company. People might jump up the ladder quickly – others get demoted and stay, some leave the company and return.
事事皆有可能。有的人平步青云,而其它的呢?要不降级,要不呆下来,还有一些离开公司又返回。
3. Most people typically want to help. If you need help – don’t be shy to ask for it!
大多数人通常是愿意提供帮忙的。如果你需要帮忙,那么千万不要因为害羞而放弃寻求帮忙。
4. Move – the worst decision you can make is not to make one. Mistakes are allowed (if not stupid and only made once)
继续前进,你能做的最差劲的决定是原地踏步。错误是允许的,当然有前提:不要犯愚蠢的错误并且同样错误只能够犯一次。
5. Put yourself in your customer’s (or boss’) shoes to see if what you want to do makes sense for those people
换位思考,站在你客户或者你老板的立场来看你所要做的是否合情合理。
6. Visibility: You need to be seen by management so that they know you exist when they work on new challenges
可见性:经常在管理层面前晃点,这样当他们碰到新的挑战或者机会时才会优先想到你。
7. Can-Do Attitude: Dare to try something you’ve never done before if you have a good feeling about doing it
能做的态度:基于合理评估的结果,要敢于常识你以前从未做过的事务。
8. Be pro-active and be reliable – this will give you a ticket for the future
主动并值得信赖 - 这将会给予你职业发展的美好未来!
